Sourcing seat retrimming parts

I've started on the Griff refurb project now.

The first job is to organise the seat and interior retrimming work.
I have someone lined up to make the new seat covers and have sourced most of the material I need for this apart from the following:

Heater elements - these have unfortunately burned out and are not easily repaired.
Springs for holding the wire frame to the base - a number of these are very corroded.

Any suggestions? Woolies don't seem to have either.

seat elements can be obtained from another vehicle perhaps? I know Audi Coupe (80 based model) elements are removable.
The seat base springs can be replaced with garden wire or pull ties. I used the former to excellent effect. Can email a photo if you're interested. If you want 'proper' springs (surely just very thin stiff wire?) I'd have thought a proessional trimmer could source or fabricate - they must be replacing these things all the time.

Photo would be very much appreciated. The wire-work bit is (more or less) OK. There are 6 or so fairly large diameter springs round the edge holding the wire-work in place. The rear-most springs are heavily corroded, so it's these I'd like to replace - I don't fancy winding my own springs with 4mm dia wire...

Hi David,the heated seat elements can be bought from TVR car parts.I bought some recently,about £30ish each
