Hello all,
Moving over from the Chimaera forum now that I have a Griffith (SE number 38).
A few questions that maybe someone can help with. There is a distinct windscreen reflection at night from the oil pressure guage and a lesser one from the speedo. Do they all do that or is it just mine? Are the brass adjusters in the ventilation holes supposed to go all the way round to completely close the aperture? I can't find a way to completely stop air coming into the cabin and suspect that that's just the way it is?
I don't find the 7 inch lights noticeably better than the Chim lights but the windscreen washers are better. Steering seems lighter than my P.A.S. Chim - can they vary in feel?
And it's a bit quicker....

No57 here. The brass vents spin every which way and can be fully closed. No problems with reflections, but the glare from the Pioneer display is bloody irritating. Headlamps are a lot better than the older Griff ones, partly as they are 7" and also because they have dipped and main beam, which I think is as on the Chim. There are other mods for the headlamps but I have just put in brighter bulbs (Phillips Vision Plus or equivalent).

Welcome, No. 13 here! I get the reflections, and the sterio. However, you soon get used to not seeing the reflections, and most sterios have a dim function when you turn your lights on. Mine does, but you might have to turn it on in the function menu!

The lights I think are great. Full beam is like daylight. You might want to set the beams up better than they are, ie get them set to parralell with the car and just under horizontal to the ground, plus extra bright bulbs, either phillips 50% brighter or Ice Blues (iluminates more detail at night than normal bulbs!)
