steering damper

Hi all. Having spent loads of time on my 4.3 suspension, new bushes, Gaz shocks, new rack, track rod ends, steering column UJ's etc, the handling is not bad. But, it is still twitchy, especially on bumpy back roads.

I also ride a KTM (525), they steer really well, turn in fantastically, but suffer the same twitchy headshaking temprament. The KTM is completely fixed by adding a steering damper. You get the benefit of a sharp geometry in corners, and stable on straights.

Has anyone tried a steering damper on a TVR? Sounds like an obvious fix? Land Rover ones are cheap. A simple bracket attached to the steering arm, and one to teh chassis and Bob's your uncle. Below link to one on e bay.
