Changing Discs on my Griff

Now that winter has arrived in NE Scotland, it's spanner time for the griff. Amongst the dozen or so 'little' job that need to be done replacement discs and pads are the primary.
What I would like to get my hands on is a run-off gauge for making sure the disc is spinning 'true' when mounted to the hub before remounting the caplier etc.
Do any of you handy spanner types know where I can get such an item. I have tried Draper / Sealey etc, but nothing coming up.

Look for a 'dial test indicator' on the web, you can probably pick one up off ebay pretty cheaply these days.

Nice pic! And a fellow BMW driver!
Stay down S. Deeside Road way, so have some handy roads on the door step. I bought my Griff last year privately from a chap in E. London....that was a cracking drive home, especially the whip crack up the M6 Toll Road. Enjoy getting the hands dirty, so the 'winter workscope' begins in earnest.
Joined the NE Scotland TVRCC this year, so looking forward to a couple of events, with the run to Zolder being the main one.
Like the masses....work in oil & gas, but used to be a joiner to trade....and before anyone asks...I'm retired from that game!!
Once the snow clears, hope to see you out and around

I am in Brechin, but come up to aberdeen a fair few times a year in the Griff. Bought mine from just outside Heathrow, so I know all about the 'breaking it in' journey on the way home!
I tried to contact the NE TVRCC in order to join myself, but the email for Baz (RO) wasn't going through. How did you contact him?
Ex joiner eh, I run a team of joiners as part of my company. I run my own kitchen and bathroom design studio, backed up by a full team of employed joiners, tilers etc etc.
Hopefully will meet up at the TVRCC meets. Whats Zolder all about?

PS I have sold the beemer now, and bought a V8 Porsche Cayenne, needed something more pratical.........
Drop me an e-mail and I'll hook you up with Barry Fergus. He works for the same company as me. Memebership for the NES branch is £8 per year, but is seperate to the main TVRCC fees. Have a look at the 'Zolder' thread under the TVR section. It's an annual trip to the Belgium race track supported by the Netherlands (?) branch of the TVRCC. Looks a good week-end out!

The porsche does the job better than any of the other cars I looked at. It's faster than most 'performance' saloons as well, although not a TVR Griff! Still 9.5 litres of engine between both cars isn't too bad is it?????
