Battery removal

Can anyone tell me how to remove the battery..I have got the 'bible' buts its at work and the battery is dead and in need of removal, Cheers in advance

It's in the passenger's footwell behind the carpet, bolted down through the floor (bolts accessible from under the car), ECU sits on top of the battery, be careful not to let anything metal touch the battery terminals.

That would explain why I can't work out how to remove it if its bolted under the floor...cheers

Just for reference, be sure to mark where the battery box is located before you slide it out.

Its difficult to line it back up when you put it back otherwise. Marking the positioning of the box will help when you push it back and want to put the bolts back into place under the car.
