I gotta knock!
Can't determine from where it emanates; 'heavy', clunky-knock from somewhere central to the rear of the car on rough roads, drains and potholes. Initially thought it was more forward, but someone that knows far more than me (thanks Craig
), has determined it's more middle-ish/back-ish. We popped it on a jack and with the aid of a fluorescent tube we grovelled around underneath but could see nothing obvious. 
Never mind, I'm more or less passing Dulford's tomorrow so Richard's going to take a look.
The joys of TVR ownership*. 
*I'm not knocking it (pun unintentional) - a few gremlins are 1. to be expected on any fifteen year old car and 2. a small price to pay to own/drive the most bestest motor car in the whole world... eVA!

Although lying on my back in the street at 9 o'clock at night with a fluorescent is not ideal for fault diagnosis.

Absolutely over the moon with the increase in power and that stonking torque curve, I am having to adjust my driving style a bit now as i am losing traction in 4th in the current road conditions...oh and a visit to physio with neck ache
