Clutch Release Bearing

As truly reliable my Griff 500/1995 is, after about 30k miles on the clock the clutch showed some wear. The original clutch had been overhauled and uprated to handle up to 600 Nw. It appears now that the replacement Clutch Release Bearing (from SKF VKC 3505) does fit but is a bit smaller/thinner than the original part (UK RHP 34/ 1,5). Does s.o. knows if such different matters? We haven't put together the clutch yet. Chris
