Oh yes on the overrun, 4000 revs off the gas and then just tickle the throttle - KABOOM!

Requires a little modifcation to the exhaust though

Rob - surely you must have heard my sleeved exhaust on the Chim during the Furball. A Griff will sound exactly the same - unless of course you get a pre-cat then it will sound like the devil.
A standard exhaust will barely overrun but as soon as you straight through those back boxes then it will sound fantastic.

When I bought my Griff I spoke with the guys at Offord and said I wanted to hear the roar of the V8. I must confess it is bargain and is not too noisey but does sound the danglies. A must.

I think most dealers and garages do their own conversions - it is not difficult to do. I got mine done by my local independent, Dave Batty, and it really was £140.

You'll certainly get that with a Griff Rob. When I took mine down to Spain for a couple of weeks they went barmy. They'd simply never seen or heard anything like it

It was his first TVR so stood over them and watched like a hawk to make sure it was done well - sounds brilliant now, but still struggling for any 'overrun music' - probably bad technique.....

Pops and bangs are £20 extra apparently ... glad I paid it
