Spark plug info?

Hello Chaps

I've begun to fettle my new toy and the spark plugs which are currently fitted ( 4.3 Precat griff) are NGK BP7ECS and I used to run BP7ES on my old wedge. Now these CS types look to be a lot colder running plug, so what are other people using?

Should be B7ECS IIRC.
The 'P' stands for projecting nose - which could lead to detonation or even extinction of the spark under certain conditions. The 'C' stands for competition which means it's a better made, more robust plug. All allegedly.

That said I ran BPR6ES in mine for a while (standard RR plug) with no ill effects whatsoever. Personally I think run whatever plug the engine is happy on - but there seems to be an undercurrent of opinion that if B7ECS doesn't suit there must be something wrong with your engine.

CS is the code for a short angled ground electrode and nothing to do with competition use - all these plugs are made to the same high standard.
