griff le rear lights any photos?

Hi
I am thinking of having the rear lights on my 2001 SE altered
I was specifically thinking about having a bodyshop fill in the
lines that make the square section, so that they look flush with just the bulbs visible.
Do you have any photos of what this would look like?

You guys both have the two car I wanted and missed, at least I think so, Blue one Henley, Red one James Agger. Very nice cars chaps, very jelous.

I had the 'seamless' rear light conversion done a couple of years ago by the leading exponent of this art, Jason Webb at TVR Bodyshop, and it didn't cost anything like this much. Very pleased with the job, which was beautifully executed. Anyway, it would surely cost only a small fraction of the amount quoted if all you want done is the seams glassed in & painted.

As you have a genuine SE Griffith I would think very carefully about making any changes to it - you could unwittingly greatly devalue it.
There is one SE that the owner personalised BUT when he came to sell it put a lot of potential buyers, including me, right off it.
Leave it as it left the factory.

No, sold by the time I saw it in the flesh, you've got some nice goodies under the bonnet! I used to own SE no.84. Got an older Griff now which I have lots of plans for, some of which just woundnt have been the right thing to do to an SE. I do thing the lights look better blended though, I belive some came out of the factory that way at the customers request.

Yes, the goodies under the bonnet were a big part of the draw when i viewed it. I had to get the engine remaped though as it was running a bit rough and a new gearbox (under warranty) as the old one developed stress cracks!. Other than that its a real flying machine and im looking forward to touring spain in the summer in it.
