Old GKN Diff - Worth Anything?

Am in the process of having the original GKN diff in my early 500 replaced with a BTR unit as per later Griffs. The GKN diff works, but is well worn and very noisy - definitely in need of refurbishment.

I've heard it said (by one of the guys at Competition Transmision Services) that these diffs are hard to come by, and potentially saleable even when in need of rebuilding. Anyone got any idea of what (if anything) it might be worth??

I bought 1 last week for £1. Might be interested in buying yours as I was going to try & get CTS to hold the important bits for us. Dont know if he would consider exchange rebuilds ~ but DIYers have asked for it in the past.
