how hard is it to change the pulse transducer on the pre cat

How hard is it to change the pulse transducer on the pre cat and where is it on the gear box. thanks james

Are you refering to the speedo Transducer?
If so, its on top of the Diff mounted in a small metal bracket with the timing wheel between the diff and the prop shaft.

Well I have just learned something new, Hadn't realised the early LT77 set up was different to the later LT77. Both my pre-serp and serp 500's were in the same place

I still suspect it may be connected to the Instrumentation change (stewart warner? > ETB >> CAI), simply because I like things to br rational Dus to colour selection this may have been out of sequence of chronological manufacture?

Probably a couple of hours, IIRC when I did mine its exhaust off ,or at least lowered jobbie.

Once the fun pipes are out of the way its just a bit fiddly.

Make sure you get the correct transducer though.......
