decided to go the whole way and remove the main cat after being bored with nothing to do to the griff for a couple of weeks, so made up a new y piece, fuel resistor kindly supplied and fitted by dnb, thanks Dave, plus a set of reconditioned injectors fitted as my old ones were very knackered, 7 out of 8 dribbling badly.
fired her up this afternoon and what an awesome sound, I thought it was pretty good without the precats, but now its a straight through system and it sounds lovely, and boy does it go now its getting the right amount of fuel, off to dulfords on friday for a proper tune up, can`t wait to give it a blat on some decent mainland roads!!

Clive, I presume you didn't have to do all the other work as a result of removing the main cat and that it needing doing anyway?

Get that cat off maty best thing i have done so far sounds crazy

I removed it as I didn`t have much else to do, and thought why not, but certainly glad that I did, just want to drive it now, and save up for a set of new shocks, and new ecu for next winters project.
