Sikaflex 291?, 292?

Hi all, I remember someone on this forum having a paint problem after a reaction with sikaflex, any tried and tested sikaflex numbers? John. 291 has one vote!

I've always used 292, AFIK it just has extra adhesive qualities. Overpainted with 2k no problem ~ pretty sure a dab of plastic primer was used before priming tho.

are you painting on to bare grp or on top of the old paint
if you are going on top of old paint, pannel wipe it then flat with 240s it back if you are getting a reaction with your first coat dust a few coats on first by this i mean do not put a wet coat on and spray a little furthur away than normal and this may help
for bare grp i would use a ppg 2 pak etch primer but it costs £115.00 pl

I use silkaflex 221.

I used 291 with great effect. A year later still looks like new. It was a doddle to use and cleaned off the paintwork and perspex easily were I was a little less than careful.
I don't know how much difference there is between the sikaflex products but 291 worked for me.
