Factory sports suspension

Something iv'e been wondering,when I bought my first Griff(98) I went for the sports suspension package,pretty sure they were still the non adjustable Bilsteins,I remember the tyres were S01's 225,45,15's and the rears 245,40,16's.
Doe's anyone know if the shocks were of different valving,different spring rates,bigger ARB?

All the tvr sports suspension packs I saw were bilsteins which is a good start, and thicker (blue) anti roll bars . I don't know how the springs compared to std though.

Definitely bigger ARBs on my Griff! I can't find any polybushes that will fit.
No idea on the dampers because mine have been replaced at least once...

dnb, mail me i might be able to help out here as i'm geting powerflex to make the a/r bushes at this very moment but just std size at the mo, but could get some bigger ones made up if you need them?. cheers joo

I was just about to phone you about some other suspension stuff... Will discuss these too.

ARB sizes are 26mm front and 23mm rear. Considerably bigger than the ones Superflex & Dulford stock.

Are there large ARB's on the market that I can upgrade my 99 griff with. I will be having the gaz shocks/ springs put on this week so could do at the same time.

They were what I quoted,I remember vividly the day I picked it up,as there were a couple of 500's in their workshop to compare it to,not an ounce of 50 profile to be seen.

Fair enough. I've never heard of that before. Given that your tyres may be unique I doubt whether anyone else had the same spring and damper rates.

245/40ZR16s on the rear would have knocked your speedo and odometer out.

Don't do it mate, the Gaz spring rates and valving are tuned for the standard ARBs.
You won't have any problem with body roll
