Larger throttle

What's the normal process for enlarging the standard plenum? Is it a case of boring to 72mm and the finding an appropriate butterfly and enlongating the slots in the spindle?

If so where could I buy such a butterfly and is 72mm the largest I can go to?

Has anyone back to back dyno'd standard with enlarged? Joolz?

Try speaking to Jenvey the throttle body people or mabye TVR power could help?

I've got someone who can make you butterflies, but would probably have to make a batch to make it worth his while. 72mm is good for 350hp without being overly restrictive

We supply these to the trade, normally 71mm , i also have 73mm which is as big as you can safely fit in the RV8 plenum, if you want one let me know.
