Of the Griff 500 handbook did TVR print?(this is the black leather cased filofax style one with brass corners).The 500 came out in late '93,but was a specific 500 handbook available immediately?The reason i ask is that i have a December '94 one,for a '93 car,and was wondering if i could get an earlier,more appropriate one?Cheers all,Mike

I have a late 94 500 (Serp engine). My handbook is as you described. On the inside of the front cover it's copyright dates October 1993. Some of the photos in the book look older than my car. The photo with the bonnet up shows a pre serp engine without a cat. Although the page with the gear shift pattern shows T5 positions. I don't know if this helps you. CRAIG

Congratulations on the purchase just had a look on your profile as i realised your griff was a lot younger than a 93... must admit when the car was sold i had a sneaky feeling it may have been you that got it for tha ajp project.

Cheers martin,thanks for the encouragement!.I never posted that i bought itI really wanted L110,and missed out last time it came up for sale.I wasn't letting the opportunity pass me twice,so it was bought as soon as i found it was for sale again.It really deserves to be back on the road,and of course it was begging to have the AJP!

There were at least 5 versions. There was not a 500 handbook immediately available for the 500. Instead a precat handbook was supplied with a 500 addendum.

Sorry to hijack, but related(ish) point.

Can anybody tell me what size in mm the TVR service card pages are meant to be? I'd like to print some whilst in the office today for future use as I think they've all run out now.

Sadly it doesn't seem to print to the right scale when I tried?

Perhaps it'll have to wait til next week...
