Help! Headlight Pod Trouble.

After assembling a pod, { but not yet in the car} I went to put in a bulb and the headlight detached itself from the mounting ring. Luckily I could pull it apart easily but I am now thinking of glueing the headlight to the plastic mounting ring as well as the 3 clips{ which seem p**s poor!} I cant imagine the hassle of refitting it if it came loose in the car. Anyone had similar problems or any remedies? thanks, John.
