Need to change the rears on the Griff, got 245 45 SO3s at the mo which no longer seem to be available. Do you need 245s? or are 225s ok? I ask as the choice of 245s is limited, had a full set of Toyo T1-Rs (245s and 205s)on the Chim 500 recently but don’t like the dry grip, not a patch on the old T1-Ss or the SO3s. Just bought a 4.3 with Dunlop SP9000 all round (225s on the back)which handles very well hence my question. Anyone using Kuhmo tyres? Seem to do some good track tyres, also fancied Toyo 888s as I’m sure they will be knackered by the time the winter comes but again only 225s no 245s ..... What to do!

245's are available in S02's from mytyres.co.uk also suggest trying guillotine as he's a helpful chap.
They're not the Pole Positions though.

Actually just ordered 888 225 50 16s from TVRmonster.com, at least I can get matching fronts when in a W rating when the SO3s are knackered.
Nice choice. As a footnote the profile of the 888 means that it's size is more or less 235 width, and of course much stickier rubber. Any concerns about tyre life?
