what window wiper motor

does anyone know which window wiper motor was used in the griffith (i.e Ford Fiesta) mine give up half way though it's wiping dam thing lol

Its a Lucus unit used in 100s of applications. @Adrian throws strops that the motor capacity is TVR specific. There was a thread a little while ago (maybe on the Chim side) about this. Gearbox / tubes ... are all available it depends whether you want to rebuild the one you have / what the problem is ....

That will be adrian@....You will find that the 29 watt motor fitted to TVR's is very difficult to get parts for, the thread that ran a while ago ended with the purchase of a secondhand unit.

it stop wiping half way though a cycle gave it a push and it made it back but i just hasn't got any guts now wont even move unless you lean over and help

Have you tried soaking the windows. My intermittent is the same as when they are nearly dry there is too much resitance and the motor stops.
Are you up to speed now Mr V???

NO!!! It was always going to be hard, what with the factory history. but I AM going to get there.

OP Test the pinions and rack by removing the arms/remove the tubing nut from the ferrule and the gearbox cover screws then disconnect the rack from the connecting rod and manually push and pull the rack operating the wiper pinions, this should spin both the pinions in a smooth action.
