New clutch and cam - any recommendations to do the work

Hi guys,

My car is in need of some remedial work. I have a feeling my clutch is on the way out as it's sometimes a bastard to get in gear, especially when the car is hot and stationary. I am also getting some pinking under hard acceleration in 3rd/4th (Racing Green have said it's probably the Cam).

Anyway, looking to do a phone around for some prices and wondered if anyone can recommend any specialists in the south (I live near Reading)?

Had problems with a new one fitted to mine, Austec sorted it straight away and car's never been better!

I have just used Jamie at Castle engines for a cam in my Griff and he was excellent IMHO.

Thanks guys, I've given David Batty a call as he's probably the most local to me and have read many a good report on here about him. Following a brief chat he's suggested I pop down there so he can have a drive and see what he thinks.

Yes this man is Top of the Tree as far as my motor goes engine and cam wise
