No rear High Intensity Fog Lights???
Discussion
I'm just checking through my Griff before it goes for an MOT tomorrow. I don't have any rear fog lights! I don't mean they don't work, I do not have any at all! There is a switch and a light on the dashboard and I can hear a rely clicking. Were they not fitted to a 92 Griff? Were they not required in 92? It's been through 4 MOT's since I have had the car and this is the first time I have noticed!

Try turning your normal lights on and then the fog light switch.Fogs lights should come on at the top of your light units. They are incorporated with your normal rear lights so should just come on brighter when the switch is activated.( if its the same as my '99 model)May be difficult to see the difference if you are looking in bright sunlight? If not....check bulbs/fuses .

So its a dual filament bulb not a separate one??? I will go and check now.
On mine (98 500) the top lamp on each side is a 21/4. The 21 is used as fog and the 4 is the normal tail light. Could be that someone has fitted the wrong lamps as it seems 21/4 is not the easiest to find ( surprising as it is used in a lot of 80’s fords.) mine had a 21/5 jammed in one side but because it didn’t fit properly the fog didn’t connect.
