Rubber surround to driving lights

I don't seem to have any with the hella lights,however a friend's Griff same year who has the cibie lights has the rubber around them which look much neater.
Should they have them on the Hella lights too?

Did all years have a rubber surround to the bottom lights?
Last possible thing on my shopping list, pre putting the car back together.

Sorry can't really answer your question, except to say mine doesn't have them (92 pre-cat) and as far as I'm aware some do some don't. is that vague enough to be any use?

Mine doesnt appear to have room for them, 94 preserp, none fitted. John
