fuel pump relay

hi, can someone tell me where the the fuel pump relay is please , is it in the pass, footwell on the board with other relays if so can some one tell me which one it is i have a 1993 griff but i think my hand book is a serp one that is an later one are the relays numbererd th same that is if they are on the board or is it located some where else many thanks again paul

There are two identical Bosch relays on the loom that sits on top of the battery box in the passenger footwell - they are the metal ones with a diagonal red stripe across them.

many thanks jay will look at them first think monday and replace as that might be my problem as i can,t get car to fire up thanks again paul

Try switching them over first - if you need new ones you'll get them from Landrover dealers about 10 - 12 pounds each - some mail order places are cheaper.

A cheap twin make/break relay is fine for a quick test.
