It is very sad but after just on two years I'm thinking I may to have to sell my pride and joy cry

There is nothing wrong with it and I love it to pieces but a bathroom that's over 50 years old needs doing and I simply haven't got enough money.

I have no firm idea how much to ask for it but know it's a good one and it's never let me down. I have spent quite a bit keeping it in fairly mint condition. Thing is, where do I look for a realistic idea on price. I have checked PH classifieds but is it worth checking with a couple of dealers for ideas (not to trade in, just a selling price)? Do people buy this sort of car on Autotrader (?) I know I didn't .....

Any ideas welcome. Oh, and a shameless plug - if anyone wants more details please PM me

When ? If someone offers the right price ... then now. If they don't then I keep it.

Have I done anything to it ? Yes, a fair bit, mainly to keep it's condition tip top but some work to the engine as well. The previous owner never left it wanting for attention either. Where do I start .... private V8 plate, hand made carbon fibre dash, complete new roof in Dec 06, new starter motor last week, AVO suspension, Wilwood brake upgrade, ACT triple plenum, uprated AFM and Bosch injectors (plus obligatory Mark Adams remap). Twin fan speed electronic conversion (not Modwise), Leven stalks, reconnolised the leather seats a couple of months ago ..... the list goes on. Oh, and it also had a respray to the front to get rid of the stonechips when at Austec 2 years ago

I have listed everything on a word doc so if anyone wants it please PM me.

John

Now I've managed to come up with a price mine is on the TVRCC website - after advice here to post it there first ... as it were

www.tvr-car-club.co.uk/classifieds/classified_all.asp

Not sure if I'm allowed to do that on this thread but there you go .....

I will do a PH advert when I get a moment !

Isn't a 50 year old bathroom rather "retro-chic" these days?

Not mod-wise 2 speed cooling ! Makes it sound like there is something wrong with it. None taken.

I think you have the market generally cornered ... as what you do works ! But I had the offer of a fully electronic alternative fitted - in the end f.o.c ... so what is a man to do
