I need to collect a set of wheels with tyres for my griff - does anybody know if they'll all fit in the car/boot/footwell.
I'm know it'll be tight but imagine somebody must have tried this before?

Cheers

doubtful really, I couldn't get 2 fronts in the boot so ended up with one in the front seat, trying to fit 4 will be awkward

I got 4 SD1 (15" with tyres) wheels in an S once. One in the boot (no roof or spare) two on the passenger seat and one behind the seats, roof down. Not sure if that helps?

I just got 2 215/35R18 Impreza wheels & tyres in the boot of my Griff. The boot was a little reluctant to close!

Yes it is entirely possible provided the fronts are 205 and not 225.

The fronts will go in the boot, you need to load one, move it to one side and place at a slight angle, then you can just get the second one in, once in there is a fair bit of room left for other stuff. Next put the fronts in plastic bags and take the roof off. Place something protective on the rear shelf ( an old blanket ) load one rear and put the roof back ( assuming you want to that is). The Final rear will now sit as if a passenger on the front seat wearing the seat belt

As an alternative and actually quite easy lift out the passenger seat and the two rears will now stand where the seat was.

AS Steve says, but if you slide the passenger seat right back, you can get both on it. Just remember to take some large dustbin liners to wrap them in.

Make sure the tyres are well covered as I ended up with a nasty mark on my passenger door leather from the tyre in the front seat banghead
