As it seems to have become the norm on here to report on the MOT experence.

After answering the following points :-

Sounds all right, sounds quite good actually.
So how the F**@@ do you open the boot.
The headlight switch is where.
And the Fog light switch.
Um….. how do I get out, there doesn’t seem to be a door handle.
I remember the number plate lights from last time, can’t catch me like that again.
These drop links look a bit snazzy.
Hum nice new callipers I see.
Grumbly Grumbly handbrake Grumble handbrake grumble mutter, call that a handbrake mutter mutter grumble.

Was issued with a nice new MOT

Got mine this week too...but had to swap my decatted Y Piece for the old catted one (and then we had to be careful on the throttle)

Nothing else on advisory though which was nice

"that's got a ltd slip diff innit?" err yes
"we'll have to go and test the brakes on the road then." ok but only if i drive.
the mot tester was impressed by the brakes, his accelerometer (?) let the car pass!

At the risk of this becoming like another “Rolling Road” thread, What sort of CO values are all you fresh MOT owners getting on the printout.

Fast Idle ( 2813 rpm)

CO 0.00
HC 17
Lambda 1.010

Natural Idle ( 1014 rpm)
CO 0.07

I was wondering if these figures indicate that the fuelling is on the lean side and if throwing a bit more in may help smooth the idle and still be within the .030 limit.

Your CO on fast idle is OK but could be a tad lean on natural idle although the idle speed is quite high.
