Evening all, does any one know of any suppliers who do a hood cover for a DIY installation.
Have spoken to TVR carparts and they recommended taking the Griff to a vehicle upholsterers! Being a yorkshire man with deep pockets and short arms and who likes getting his hands dirty would prefer DIY if possible.
Anyone with advice?
Thanks Dave

I have one in the garage waiting to go on the S. Can't comment on the fitting as I haven't got round to it yet but the hood itself is very well made and feels thicker than the original (though it has been there for 15 years). The rear window stitching is pretty solid too.

Give them a call before you order though as mine came with 2 seperate pieces for the targa panels and I assume you'll need 1 piece.

Yes I have recently fitted a carhoodwarehouse-supplied hood - great value and excellent quality.

Hi 60maxx,

Found this thread from last Summer. PH'er Simon.b mentioned he was going to write up a DIY bit on replacing the rear header section. Might be worth PM'ing him to see if he finished it ?!?

In the mean time re-covering the roof panel section (DIY) is covered on The Griffith Pages;
