Hi

I assume you mean air filter? What are you referring to by camcover vent?

ACT sell the K&N air filter for the 4.3 and I wouldn't use anything else. Had one on my Land Rover for about 10 years now without any problems. They can be cleaned and re-oiled using the K&N 'Recharge' Kit (IIRC)

Is the other thing the breather? Funny little thing looks a bit like a mini collander? If it is, its a bog standard Rover part I think and can even be got from ebay.

considering getting K&N direct replacement cylinder filter - any downsides?

The camcover vent is a breather next to bulkhead on passenger side - on top of cover, made of plactic

Rimmer Bros do these. I'd have thought you can get one from any RR bits place.

None that I'm aware of. Its a fit-and-forget item as far as I'm concerned.
