Cutting out when up to heat

It's summertime and open top driving season...but not for me!

Just overhauled the cooling system (Flush out,Recored rad, Leven otter and thermostat) ready for the summer and Zolder.

It now likes to cut out when its upto heat and the fans kick in (circa 85oC on the gauge). I have bought a new bosch 650A battery as the current one is only holding a charge for a couple of hours. If its not battery, any other suggestions? Coil / Alternator?

Could be loads of things - for me it was the ignition amp, which struggled when hot stalling the car at traffic lights and whilst parking.

I had something similar with my Chimaera once… turned out to be the rotor arm..! It was explained to me why it only happened when warm, but I can't remember. The brass pin had come loose and the tip was loose...
