Altering the ride height by adjusting the damper spring seat has (according to popular opinion) an effect on the camber setting. Having thought this through I have concluded that reducing the height makes the camber slightly more negative. Is that right ?

That's right. It also increases the roll-induced camber.

The starting point is all important IMHO. The camber changes are just described by 2 arcs (1 smaller & 1 larger - wishbones) linked by a fixed distance (your upright). There will only be one point at which you have minimum camber - deflection either way will add camber. Where you started relative to this point defines what happens. Methinks...
