Hi,

anyone know the reference for the relay which controls the interior light delay in a 96 griffith 500? Also best place to source them from?

have just been trying to fit Modwise's boot opening kit, but could not work out why it wouldn't work at all, until i tracked down the relay was missing from the board! Havent even got one to copy the reference numbers from!

Any help appreciated.

The relay is a Ford part, I picked one up in a breakers recently myself so still have the part number on me. Its quite tall and yellow so easy to recognise. Part number was 85GG 13C718 though apparently this was replaced later by 92GG 13C718.

I've got the 85GG variant and the interior lights just turn off after the set period. It's possible that the 92GG variant dims slowly in theatre style though I'm only guessing? Somebody else might know if that's the case?

BTW, when fitting mine I discovered I had a footwell lamp as well as the one on the roof header. If you've got one make sure it's in the right position to avoid a flat battery before leaving the car!

I reckon the loom comes with the wiring as standard, but not all have the lamp holders BTW (a very useful addition if you need to change a fuse at night..)
