My handbrake doesn't click on any more, I presume the ratchet has broken, anyone know what part it is and how to get at it?

Have a look on www.thegriffithpages.com and look at the 'alternative parts' list.

It used to work quite well if you used both hands!

I reckon the bolt that holds it has come out or Broke ( did on mine)
You have to lift the centre console up and out and take the fibre glass panel out ( four screws I think) you'll then see to the passenger side a bolt that holds all in place IIRC.
Because when pulling it on you do it at an angle and this stress the bolt and can brake it..especially if using two hands hehe

3 weeks later got it sorted, I took the exhaust off to grease my nipples and found the handbrake was quite easy to get to underneath, there are 2 bolts into the chassis, one is the pivot bolt which was ok and the other holds the ratchet plate in position and had gone awol.beer
