Does anyone know what the seat belt restraints are off?

you know the bit that is essentially a chunk of cable with an eyelet one end and the belt 'buckle' attachment at the other

I'm trying to replace mine with something that isn't 3 feet long.....

Wouldn't you just know it, whats that saying about buses ?
After replacing my seats with Cerb seats I was looking for one of these long ones - and your not far off with 3 feet, its exactly half that at 18" - for more than 2 years and finally found one on ebay about a fortnight ago.

Anyway, I'll swap the one I've just taken off and keep yours as a spare if you want.

So I get your short one in exchange for my long one?

If so then great, email via my profile and we can exchange addresses unless you're in the Northampton or Loughborough area?

Probably shouldn't ask this (being as I'm after the part) but why do you want the long one as it puts the 'H' point a long way from the hip bone where it should be?

actually, I've now got two of the long ones in the car now but I'll keep yours as a spare. The Cerbera seats have a thick side bolster which the standard seats don't have. My car had one long seatbelt stalk and one short one. The long one is perfect for the Cerb seats but the short one was a pain in the arse for the passenger trying to get the seatbelt in as it was between the seat bolster and the tunnel. Its odd how many cars have one long and one short seatbelt stalk, I've noticed a lot and not been able to figure out why, and I've even pointed it out to owners who didn't realise they had odd stalks

If you try and talk me out of this any more I'm not swapping hehe

Yes, I had this too. The passenger side was too short, while the driver side was too long, leaving the buckle end resting on my stomach. As the recoil mechanisms were rather weak and the car is 15 yrs old, I got a new set from Clever Trevor which had medium sized stalks!
