My Griff has a problem with the drivers side rear wheel.

After driving for a while, the rear wheel seems to resist movement when setting off again in first and second. On top of this, my Dad was stood on the drive yesterday and mentioned that he heard a slight clunk when I pulled off.

Anybody got any ideas as to what the problem might be? Its been like this for a while and as I have a track day in July, I'm keen to get to the bottom of this before giving it some beans.

Please help.

All suggestions will be considered !

Cheers

Do you notice significant amount of heat from this wheel after a run?

Could be wheel bearing, but sounds more like a sticky calliper to me.

Again, thanks for your offering.

I'm paranoid about something happening.

After a spirited run back from London Thunder, my front wishbone snapped when I backed the car into the garage and the wheel practically fell off. Can't imagine the mess if this had happened on the motorway doing 70 mph !
