I'm sure somebody will come along to give you the categorically correct answer in a minute but I think..
you can get to them from under the wheelarch. Turn the wheel to full lock and I think there is removeable section from behind the headlamp itself.
I stress, I think.
Yes,that is bulb access panel.you can get to them from under the wheelarch. Turn the wheel to full lock and I think there is removeable section from behind the headlamp itself.

Some people say you can get the headlamp out that way..
I am yet to be convinced...
More chance of it popping forward when trying, and scratching the pain inside the pod !!!
I'm not convinced you can get the headlight out of the pod without taking the entire pod out and removing the perspex cover.
Had the whole damned thing in my hand a fortnight ago and forgot to photograph it.
BUT.. On the back of the pod are 3 wingnuts which allow you to align the headlight correctly. Surely then the pod must have a lip at the back and bolts from the headlight go through the lip with the wingnuts on the back.

As above, I cant see it being possible.
Best change em to 7's whilst they are out..
As everyone has said before, headlight is inside the pod and it all has to come out and split to clean the glass..
I've done it and it wasn't as troublesome as i thought it might be.

The only thing I will say is when I tried to clean the white haze off my headlamp glass it wouldn't come off I think its on the inside and I wasn't about to take that apart aswell.. good luck

I used that guide when I took mine apart.
A couple of lessons I learnt
Don't use a metal spoon to finish the sealant - it takes off the paint around the edge of the headlight hole.
Use your finger instead. Lick your finger and wipe it around to get the sealant in and take off the excess. Regularly clean your finger and re-lick it
(I really wish I could make that not sound like something out of Up Pompeii)
And when you go back the following day to finish up, give yourself a couple of hours because it really could take that long.
All that said, I think I've done a better job on the Offside than someone has previously done on the nearside.

What a fanstatic article - not as good as the cookery one in Womans Realm the other week though.
Shut up or I won't help you with yours
Barreti I think you may have pressed a bit hard with the spoon if you removed paint
i didn't have that problem with mine...Not wishing to sound like the H&S police but sikaflex is an irritant I would never advise anyone it to apply it with a finger let a lone lick it!!!

In fairness Griffsmith, I'm not sure the paintwork was that great anyway, but I was careful with the spoon. I'm not sure its the right tool for this particular job that's all.
Each to their own with the finger lickin' fun then eh. I quite enjoy it myself
as you say each to there own. I've done silicon around baths with my finger and got cack results which is what made me so nervous about doing my light pods and why i chose to use 'tools' rather than appendages and it came out good. You could employ someone 'good lookin' on minimum wage for a couple of hours to lick them for you. safer in the long run and I would think more fun
