I am building a 5.0 Litre Griffith engine for a friend, but am short of some rocker cover badges, you know the black and silver ones. Does anyone have an idea where I might get some?

I asked a similar question just a month back; they seem to be pretty much unavailable. I'm having some made up by engraving into brass sheet; actually I need to chase the job up. When/if they come to fruition I'll post a shot. They should look good when polished up and bonded to my freshly painted black rocker covers.

Got mine off ebay about 6 months ago

I'll have a look and see if I have a record of who they came from

Thanks guys, I am looking for 4 badges, one set for the 5.0L and another set for a 4.6L.

Thanks for the email Colin, don't suppose you would have a telephone number or email address.

OK, I have exhausted all my sources for obtaining some rocker badges, so I have decided to have some made. I have given a sample to a colleague of mine who will make some. I am going to make 100 black/silver and 50 red/silver. If anyone is interested in having some themselves, then let me know.

Also, on a similar subject, I have already had a number of carbon fibre plenum badges made for a Chimera, Griffith and a Defender (I know, but it goes well with a 5.0L) and they look fab. Again, I can do these at £35 per badge with any wording. i.e. Griffith 500, Chimera 400 etc

Hope this will sort out folks frustration in obtaining these bit.

That is true, and i bid for one. There was one new one and one rough second hand one. I need 4 myself, so I will make some for me and others
if they are interested.

You only need one per car as only one can be seen.

I think one on each rocker cover is the way forward, but that's your choice.

The special lightweight Griffiths only have one - if you go for two you'll have to find another couple of BHPs.
