Just a little crack...

....can cause a real problem as I found out.
Driving back from LM the car developed an annoying missfire, wouldn't idle & generally misbehaved (popping banging & farting). Since then not had time to rectify said problem until today.
Had been trying unsucessfully subsequently to get the car started with the usual cursing & coaxing, but to no avail.
To cut a long story short it turned out that the new rotor arm fitted previous to LM had cracked right thru. I'd missed it on previous lead twiddling as the crack was a fine hairline.
Just goes to show a component costing a few ££ failing caused a real headache.
