Seat re-furbing/re-building
Discussion
I'm doing this now. Well, I've done the easy bit of welding the seat bases back together, putting in a couple of new springs (the wires were OK on mine) and making some new foam bits. The rest is being done by a local trimmer.
The recline mechanism is a REALLY strong spring and a ratchet mechanism, so not difficult once you've got at it. (Just watch your fingers because it can move fast...
)
Give me a yell if you want pics or me to attempt to describe it in proper words - I have one seat disassembled in the workshop at the moment.
