Ive been a silly boy and written off my blue 500 Griff.
Its just last week been paid out by the insurance and no doubt will be rebuilt and up for sale in a few months.
Unfortunately it was a mess with over 25K of damage.
Anyone considering buying this could be buying a good Griff if rebuilt well and at the right price because it was a vell well sorted car.
Happy to help if anyone considering it.

Not all bad news though - got the loudest and brightest Tam I have ever seen now. Check out my profile for pic.

Sorry to hear about the Griff, I hope you're over the accident now.
Have you still got any of the documentation for the car, the TVRCC have an archivist who may be interested in getting it from you for their records.
Is the Tam the one previously owned by KEIFH ?
That must be one of the most photographed ones about.
Would you consider coming back here later in the year to let us know how you are getting on with the Tamora. As much as it pains me to think it, being a confirmed Griffithist and all, there are possibly others on here who are considering a Tamora and would find your experiences useful.
Above all though - Enjoy the Tamora

I was bothered when changed to a Tamora after having the Griff for 3 years. However, now think Tamora much better. Handling is superb, car is just more modern all round. Fit a sports exhaust and the noise is even better as well. The Tamora doesn't have the low down torque and needs to be revved over 4k, and I also think the Cerbera seats I had in the Griff were much better than the Tams, which are not very good at all. But like all TVRs pay your money take your choice, I just love the Tamora tho the Griff a fantastic car also.

Yeh it is Keifh's old one and I love it. Have you still got any of the documentation for the car, the TVRCC have an archivist who may be interested in getting it from you for their records.

Yeh pretty much the same experience. I do miss the low down Griff torque but the speed 6 is OK once you get used to it, and defo agree fit a loud exhaust. Just done 3000 miles around France in Tam seats and found them OK. Am getting a full leather retrim in a week or so and might put a little bit of extra padding in the seats (but not much).Car will be at the Rok on 'Prestige Performance Cars' stand if anyone fancies a nosey. Its a bit unique with a T350 headlight conversion as well. Will look even better once I get the front end re-painted.
