Discussion
im about to move into yet another half derelict hellhole ripe for renovation in two weeks, but the big problem is...it has no garage or driveway!

i can keep the car about 10 miles away in my parents garage, but is there any point?
shall i sell?
if i do will the growl be a good place to stick a sign on ?
god i dont know what to do!!!

My current place was a derelict ten years ago; in fact it still is. My parking bay is almost complete but until this point the Griff was parked in, what was to all intents and purposes, a pond. I used to squish newts as I backed out into the main road. . . . and I kid you not.

Keep it. . . . Donut!
Keep it. If in doubt buy a decent car cover.
If your worried about it getting all damp inside etc, then use it reguarly to make sure it stays good and dry.
8 years ago we moved into a "house that needed TLC". Obviously, 8 months after we moved in, I had new mighty fine garage / workshop.
8 years on, and Mrs big dunc is still reguarly asking me about the kitchen and bedroom extension that we have been talking about since the day we moved on. Mental note to self, must get round to that sometime.

I know FFG had to keep his Ocean Haze many miles away in folks garage for many months which was a pain but HE STILL HAD IT!!!
Big regrets if you sell.... but the Growl would be perfect for displaying a sign and assessing interest. I have had at least 3 people say they will be on the lookout at the Growl....

I have made the same mistake with previous cars - spent time and money getting the car in perfect condition and then move on - 'cause I get bored.
Take the Griff for a drive - you will change your mind!

I sold my mint 'best on the road' TR6 a few years back to fund a house renovation, regretted it immediately and would still regret it today if I hadn't since acquired a Griff.
Advertise locally for someone with a garage they dont use, try putting a card in the local supermarket, post office etc and you might be surprised at the results. Then, when you cant stand anymore paint/wallpaper stripping or ripping up rotten floors you have an 'escape' to restore some sanity.

Simple really....no.
Keep it - I sold mine in April because it was "sitting outside" and I still regret it now some four months later.
If its garaged away from the home, it really is a special event to go and collect it, open the garage door and its like you have seen it for the first time again. Keeps the exitement alive.
You know it makes sense...
