engine malfunction when hot...

hi, how come my 500 engine starts having problems when in a hot day gets extremely hot? it starts going like out of proper advance, gets rough, and sometimes like electricity cuts or missing fuel...it goes like s... then when just started in the morning or kept cool the malfunction(s) disappear...

another question: is it posible that the advance once fixed it moves and the car goes with unproper timing?

Probably your coil or ignition amp beginning to give up.

.coil is brand new, ign amplifier i'll need to check, thanks for the advice.

Exact same symptoms on my 4L pre-cat. Checked everything before finding the CO setting in the air flow meter was set too rich for the car (1.5volts with tornado chip re-set to 1.2volts as first trial), low speed shunting now gone and far more power all through the rev range irrespective of temperature and/or running time.
