Just completed thoroughly cleaning the Griff (in advance of the growl) and now can't seem to get the door locks to engage. When I activate the remote to lock the doors, I get the correct locking "clunk" and the indicators flash - immediately followed by the doors unlocking. Alarm does activate but leaves the doors unlocked. Any thoughts on what I may have done that's causing this?

Is your boot and doors all shut properly ? Mine did it after cleaning just the same, had left the boot open banghead

Also check that the door is fully pushing in the switch on the lower sill when it is closed. If there isn't one there already, stick a rubber pad on to help.

Ok, I've checked the doors this afternoon and unfortunately, the rubber pad on the driver's side door is missing (the one on the passenger door is fine). Looks like the top part of the pad has sheared off (don't know why) - all was fie up to yesterday. Any thoughts on where I may be able to get hold of a suitable replacement rubber pad?

The rubber 'feet' used on computer/speaker/various electrical items will do and are easy to get hold of. I nicked one of my children's PC speaker redface

Just to finish off this topic... Found an excellent replacement rubber foot to push against the lower drivers side door-lock meachanism today - 3mm deep by 10mm diameter self adhesive rubber feet from Maplin (comes in a set of four). A quick spot of trial fitting and then super-glue in place; works fine. These little rubber feet have now joined my travelling spares set! Thanks to Slacey for the suggestionsmile
