Firstly - as a bit of advice (for those who cant remember or are newbies) you might want to consider bringing one of those collapsable seat thingies for the BBQ night as I recall it is a struggle for everyone to get a seat...

Secondly - there will be Welcome Packs for the first 200 TVRs to arrive over the weekend. These contain some very nice freebies plus information from the organisers and certain suppliers/supporters. ALSO they have voting slips for best "New" and best "Used" Griff. These are a bit of fun for you to vote for who you think has produced a good looking Griff. Please vote this year as there are some nice prizes to be had for these competitions. As I say it is a bit of fun so rather than having judges we like your peers to vote. Prizes to be awarded at the BBQ...

Definitions:

"New" - as described, minimal stone chips, concourse effort, looked after, can be modded as long as clean, neat and tidy. A good looking Griff (arnt they all wink )

"Used" - obviously used, not worried about stone chips etc as long as is clean , neat, tidy, looked after.Makes it fair for older, more tired cars

If I think of anymore I'll post on this thread...

cheers

Oh and another thing...

Could anyone who can fit one in, bring a small gazebo with them in the unlikely event that it rains?? Or, as is more likely, for use as a sunshade??

You probably wont need to use them but it would be useful to have one or two dotted around so that we can still mingle even if it rains...

Anyone got a loud hailer we could borrow?
No, it isn't for the coach journey back from the curry night.

The chairs for the BBQ are a definite essential, otherwise people will be sitting on the floor. OK if it's dry but if it rains?

So please bring any collapsible chair you have to the BBQ - the more the better!

Clive - they do but not for 140 folks at a time.

Its just a contingency in case you dont get a seat...and dont forget Clive not many people would want to sit next to you (especially after they have met you) smile

Also if you bring a seat you can sit in the coner away from everyone

Ohhh another thing

We will have a bucket for all your loose change as a collection for the Air Ambulance so please dig out your coppers and empty your loose change jam jars and bring the contents with you. We will not be offended by hundreds of 1,2 and 5p's !!
