The mirror glasses on my Griff seem to have slipped down and are now fouling the plastic body of the mirror housing. Can the glasses be removed without dismantling the mirror assembly, and without breaking them?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I assume you have power adjusted and heated mirrors as I think it's that that causes the glue to melt and the mirror to slip.
So using the power adjustment you can tip the mirror so that the top of the glass goes into the housing. If you look under the glass at the bottom you will see a small plastic tab, with a screwdriver push that either left or right (I can't remember which way is unlock) and that will unlock the mounting ring on the back of the glass. You will be able to pull the glass out and unplug the wires to the heating element you can then restick the plastic mounting ring.

Obviously putting it back is the reverse procedure.

Similarly ... Argh!

I've just stuck my nearside one on with double-sided sticky tape - a right PITA it was too!

The glass in my nearside mirror wobbles a little in the housing.
Is there a known cause/fix for this?
