Sounds nice but I am concerned may be too loud if ACT manifold and no cats with the sports system

I think it depends how much you use your car. If it's a daily runner I'd guess it could be very tiring and I know of people who have reversed work because it was just too loud. If it's a lowish milage weekend car then I imagine it may be more tolerable.....

To save you a little cash you could remove the precats from the existing manifolds, fit a main cat replacement pipe and a tune resistor ( so keeping the original manifolds)
As jeffsy says if you visit the Griff Growl at the weekend you will be able to see for yourself what is loud and acceptable for you.
I removed my precats and fitted the V8 Enhancement cat replacement pipe which sounds the biz and comes with a tune resistor if you still have the Lucas ecu.

Hope this helps Ian.

I've had the pre-cats taken out of my '98 Griff as part of putting in a complete stainless system. My goodnesslick- highly recommended if you don't mind attracting lots of attentionbiglaugh I'll be at the Growl next weekend and suspect mine won't be the loudest...

I have the performance manifolds(no cats) and a completely std exhaust and it's too loud. The reason for this is partly because of the other mods the engine has though.I certainly wouldn't want a de-catted performance manifold and sports exhaust though,no matter if the engine is modded or not!
