Was there anything structural damaged underneath?
Seems a bit odd they'd write it off for what looks like just a nose job, a bit of work on the back quarter, a new rad and a respray.
Bodyshop quoted 10.5K for the repair, they wrote it off after that, no damage to chassis etc, drove it onto the recovery truck. It also had adjustable shocks, recent wishbones and polybushes, sleeved exhaust etc.Seems a bit odd they'd write it off for what looks like just a nose job, a bit of work on the back quarter, a new rad and a respray.

Have you still got all the bills ? Knowing you i expect to see them on e-bay soon
How did you guess? Need to fund the Tuscan spray and tune up after all

It also got a Cat C, the damage was fairly light and I only expected it to be a Cat D. The car was already a cat D car when I bought it and the damage was not as bad this time around, looks like its been knocked about a bit in its life, apparently it also had some rear end damage when it was in singapore.
