confused When I had a 4.3 Griffith, the ECU was a large heavy, metal cased, unit with one connector - the same as every other Griffith. The 4.3BV that I have now has a different ECU (pics below), plastic casing, smaller, lighter and with a bundle of wire coming out of one side and an eight point connector on an adjacent side.

Is this a normal TVR fitted unit or is it likely that what I have here is some form of upgraded (or otherwise) ECU ? Anyone else got one like this ?

Are you sure its the ECU and not some kind of alarm module ?
I ask as the licence exempt sticker often appears on low powered radio controlled stuff.

I am certainly of the opinion your remote key fobs wont work with it disconnected, I dont think it will do much towards controlling the engine wink

Another route around then, perhaps it's down behind the battery box. I sure can't see anything else in there. Thanks for the reponses.
