Socket to fit OZ Split Rim Alloys.
Discussion
I have made a socket that fits the 12 point bolts that are in the OZ Alloy Wheels. My father wanted one so he could strip down the alloys and get them cleaned and polished local to him to save shipping them away. I have made a few spares (perks of my job
)and they are for sale in the clasified section with some other bits i have spare.

OZ went to some length to stop other people from dismantling their wheels, and I imagine they had some reason for this. My guess would be that they decided it was too dangerous to have DIYers trying to assemble the wheels.
Sorry yeah 10 not 12 i can't count or spel
.
I see what you are saying that it might be a safety reason to stop joe public taking them apart.
But it could also be to limit you to using a OZ specialist and pay there price were as if you have the socket there is nothing stopping you taking them to any alloy wheels company to be done. It's not a hard job to do but getting your hands on the tool to do it, thats the hardest part.
