I was having a banal chat to the neighbours elderly mother on my way out yesterday and suddenly my ears pricked up. She said "John and Laura have got one like that" while pointing at my car. Blimey, they used to have an aged Toyota Carina, they have suddenly gone up in my esteem. She turns round to her equally aged hubby.... "John and Laura's new car, it's like this one, what is it"?

John thinks for a moment and replies "An Audi TT in British Racing Green" Now while I'm flattered that they talked cars with me to be polite there is no way my car looks like a bloody TT. FFS I got enough grief when I had a Boxster, how dare they say my car looks like a TT.


Aargh.
